Fireworks 8 tutorial to create vintage / old paper effect on vector graphics

In this tutorial, you will learn to create vintage or old paper effect on vector graphics or text. There are several methods to do this. One of them illustrated in this tutorial is done using 'watercolor brush' and 'group as mask'.

• Create your vector graphics.
  
  
  
• Select 'Brush Tool' from tool kit and 'heavy water color' from properties window
  
  
  
• Scribble over your vector image leaving little gaps on image edges as shown below
  
  
  
• Select both 'vector graphic and bitmap water color scribble' and click on 'Modify> Mask > Group as Mask' from the main menu and that is it !!, you are done with vintage effect.
